Navratri special

                           Falahari stuffed dahi vada

                 Hi my dear friends, i am very happy because navratri is coming and whenever navratri comes it brings happiness, blessings, colourful day and night and ofcourse lots of falahari yummy food.

Dahi vada is a famous lip-smacking North Indian dish 
Therefore i bring you a yummy sweet and tangy falahari stuffed dahi vada 

        Ingredients for vada:-
• 1 cup barnyard millet (bhagar)
• 5 tblsp tapioca pearls (sabudana)
• 5 green chillies 
• 1/2 tspn black pepper powder 
• rock salt according to taste
• 1/2 inch ginger 
• 2 medium size boiled potato
• 1 tblsp oil or ghee
• 2 tblsp chopped coriander leaves
• oil for deep frying 
        
       Other ingredients:-
• 25gm almonds, cashew nuts, raisins 
• 2 cup curd
• 2 tblsp sugar
• rock salt to taste 
• tamarind chutney
• cumin powder 
• pomegranate pearls
• falahari sev
• coriander leaves

       Method:-
           
             •   Wash and Soak barnyard millet (bhagar) and tapioca pearls(sabudana) separately for 2 hours and grind to a fine paste with green chilles,black pepper powder,rock salt,ginger without adding water.

               • Beat the batter for a while, now heat a pan and pour the batter on it with grated boiled potato on low to medium heat and stir continuously till it becomes soft, add chopped coriander and 1/2 tblsp ghee and knead the dough.
 
              • Grease your fingers with ghee and Pinch a ball sized dough fill it with dry fruits make a small ball and flatten the top of the ball with wet fingers and drop slowly into the hot oil. Deep fry on medium heat for sometime and then fry on low heat till golden brown. Remove these deep-fried vadas into a bowl of water and let them soak for 15-20 minutes. Remove and gently press them between your palms so that excess water comes out. Keep them aside. 

               
               • Whisk off curd and add the sugar, salt and mix well. place the vadas in a serving bowl and pour the curd mixture evenly all over the vadas and cover them. sprinkle rosted cumin powder, put a spoon of tamarind chutney garnish with pomegranate pearls, falahari sev and coriander leaves
