Panchforan aloo matar ki sabzi

Ingredients:-

• 3 medium boiled potato 
• 1/2 boiled & mashed potato 
• 1 tbsp mustard oil
• 1 tsp panchforan
• 3 dried red chilies
• 1 medium tomato finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp grated ginger 
• 1/2 cup matar (green peas)
• salt
• Black salt
• 1 tsp tamarind pulp or water
• 1/4 tsp turmeric 
• 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
• 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp chaat masala (optional)
• 1 cup water or required

Method:-



Heat oil in a cooker add panchforan, dry red chilies let them crackle then add chopped tomato and ginger saute for 3 to 4 minutes, add matar saute for 2 minutes.


Add mashed potato, red chilly powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, black salt, chaat masala, tamarind pulp saute for 1 minute, pour water, then pressure cook for 1 to 2 whistle.

Open the lid and add chopped boiled potatoes, cook for 5 minutes, garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with puri, parantha, dhuska, chapati or rice.

Note:-
• You can also make panchforan aloo matar ki sabzi with raw potatoes.
• Boiled mashed potato will make your gravy little thick.
