Falahari Kadhi Puri

Hello dear friends , i am again here with another  falahari dish which is kadhi and puri.
Kadhi is a indian subcontinent dish, it has a bit of sour taste and is often eaten with steamed rice or roti. Kadhi is eaten in Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh etc.
Today i bring falahari kadhi puri from Uttar Pradesh, this is a very easy and simple recipe which you can make for Navratri fasting.

  Ingedients for kadhi:-

• 3 boiled potato
• 3 tbsp water chestnut flour ( singhada atta)
• 4 green chillies
• 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 2 water
• rock salt according to taste
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tbsp chopped coriander

Ingredients for puri:-

• 1 cup water chestnut flour
• 1 medium boiled potato
• 2 tbsp (or required) water
• ghee for frying

          Method:-

• Add potatoes and rock salt in a pressure cooker then pour enough water and boil the potatoes. Allow the potatoes to cool down slightly, then peel them and dice them into pieces.


• Heat the ghee in a pan, now add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add water chestnut flour and stir it continuously for 2-3 minutes now add potatoes, saute them for 1 minute,  now add water and allow it to simmer, then add chopped green chillies, stir and let the kadhi cook for 5 minutes or more on a low flame, till it thickens slightly. Now turn off the flame then add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.

• Take a bowl add water chestnut flour ,grated potatoes and rock salt . knead it lightly and smoothly with adding little water

• Take a coin sized dough coat it with the flour . Roll it with the help of rolling pin. Heat oil/ghee enough to put the puri in it and fry the puri until golden brown.

Serve Hot ЁЯШЛ
